SUMMARY:Lecture: Sustainable Energy in Developing Countries
DESCRIPTION:On 17th October DelftS.E.A\,. with the collaboration of The Energy Club\, will bring two very talented speakers who will talk about their experiences working on projects in developing countries. \nWe have Dwi Sassetyaningtyas\, who is about to graduate\, and who has worked on rural electricifcation of a small island in Indonensia called Sumba using PV. Also Rob de Jeu will talk about his work on integrating smart grids in villages in India\, and thus helping them gain access to electricity plus an additional income. \nThis was just a very brief introduction to some amazing work they did in Indonesia and India. You are welcome to hear them share their insights on their experiences conducting research in developing countries and perhaps you will gain some inspiration too!! \nAfterwards\, there will be networking drinks in /Pub (EWI) with various organisations\, professors and associations who are closely related to sustainability. This will give you a great chance to make some important connections. So do not miss it!

DESCRIPTION:Hi everybody! \nWe hope that you have had an unforgettable Master Kick-Off and a great first week! We were very pleased to see that many of you were interested in participating in activities\, and willing to be very involved. As we have announced during our presentation in the MKO\, two of our board members will soon finish their term in the association. We are looking for highly motivated and proactive students who want to fill their positions as of November 1st. The available positions are: \n-Commissioner of Education & Vice President\n-Treasurer \nThat being said\, we would like to invite everyone who is interested to our interest drinks event to elaborate more on the tasks of each of the positions\, and to discuss the plans of the association for this year!\nOur work over the previous could not have been achieved by the board members alone\, thanks to the great help provided by the various student committees\, we were able to achieve successful projects such as our website & the SET match Magazine.
