We hope you are all enjoying the start of the academic year and staying safe 😷\nDelft SEA is kicking off this year’s company-related events with an amazing webinar together with DNV GL. For those of you who don’t know\, DNV-GL is the world’s leading classification society and is also the largest technical consultancy and supervisory to the global renewable energy (65% of the world’s offshore pipelines are designed and installed to DNV GL’s technical standards)\, with its Energy business headquarters located here in the Netherlands 😎.\nThe lecture will be focused on 3 areas of the company working in the power sector\, including topics such as NextGen Grid Operation\, future of Smart Metering\, new technologies of high voltage towers\, and earthing design for a substation. We will also have the participation of a former TU Delft student sharing her experience at DNV-GL as a Sustainable Energy Technology graduate.\nThe presentation will be held through MS Teams so everybody is welcome to participate.
