Lighthouse Projects Lunch Lecture

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming Erik Houtepen and Martijn van Wijk from Lighthouse Projects for a highly engaging session with the Sustainable Energy Technology master’s students. 🙌

They shared valuable insights into the company’s diverse portfolio of projects, including wind, solar, and battery storage, as well as exciting future developments on the horizon. Their practical experience and forward-looking approach offered students a great perspective on real-world challenges and innovations in the renewable energy sector.

Delft SEA went for Paintball 🎨🔫

This week, the Delft SEA crew went for paintball and had an absolute blast on the battlefield! 🟡🔫 From strategic ambushes to colorful chaos, it was a day full of action, laughs, and (some) friendly fire.

HoSt Group Lunch Lecture

This Wednesday, March 26th, the Sustainable Energy Technology master’s students welcomed HoSt Group for an exciting lunch lecture on their work in renewable energy technologies. 🙌

The session covered the wide range of technologies developed within the group—biogas plants, biomass and waste-fired boilers, gasification, biogas upgrading, CO₂ liquefaction, carbon capture, and electrolyzers. 🌿⚙️ HoSt also highlighted the various opportunities available for students and young professionals interested in internships and graduation projects within the company.

A big thank you to Auke Smet and Steven Vogt for sharing their expertise and giving us insights into the innovative work being done at HoSt!
