TenneT Company Visit

Last week, students from Sterkstroomdispuut, Delft Sustainable Energy Association and TUDelft Energy Club visited TenneT offices in Arnhem. During the visit, the students were informed about the professional journey within TenneT and the possible projects available during various traineeships. Following this, a case study was conducted, where students participated with great enthusiasm.
It was a fantastic introduction filled with positive energy! ⚡

We would like to thank TenneT for giving this opportunity to TU Delft students.

End of the Year Party ☀️

Cheers to a year of hard work and dedication! 🎉✨ The first- and second-year SET students have faced challenges head-on and achieved so much together over the past year.

The end-of-year party was the perfect way to relax, recharge, and celebrate these incredible accomplishments.

Wishing everyone a well-deserved and joyful summer holiday! ☀️🌴

All – SET Event

On Monday, June 10th, Delft SEA hosted the first-ever All-SET Event. It was an exciting evening where students and professors from departments involved in the SET program gathered to discuss, socialize, and participate in a lively quiz with mixed teams. One of the highlights was a game where students had to match fun facts to the correct professors. The event concluded with awards presented to the quiz winners and professors, recognizing their significant contributions to the SET program.

We are excited about the prospect of making this event a tradition! See you next year.

TenneT Lunch Lecture

On Thursday, May 30th, TenneT visited TU Delft to deliver an amazing lunch lecture to students from the MSc Sustainable Energy Technology and Electrical Power Engineering program at TU Delft.

Owen van Hooff gave an engaging presentation on his current projects within his traineeship, highlighting the complexities and challenges involved in expanding the offshore network with HVDC cables.

Additionally, the students had the chance to get informed regarding the exciting opportunities for internships, theses, and traineeships at TenneT.

A big thank you to TenneT for the incredible lecture. We look forward to a continued partnership.
