Sunrock Case Study: Innovative solutions to compensate for low subsidies in rooftop projects

Date: May 12 2021
Time: 10:00 – 12:30
Place: Fill in this form to receive Zoom link for the event!

Sunrock is the biggest rooftop solar project development company of the Netherlands. The primary focus of Sunrock is on large scale logistic buildings. With almost 150 MWp operational and + 1 GWp of SDE pipeline Sunrock is a substantial contributor to accelerating the energy transition. Due to congestion on the electrical grid and diminishing subsidies, the development of large solar rooftop projects is becoming increasingly challenging.

During our case study on the 12th of May the aim will be to use innovative solutions to both increase the sustainability of logistic buildings, and to create a more profitable business case, using the data from an actual Sunrock solar park. Can you come up with innovative ways to increase sustainability? The contributor of the best idea will be offered the chance to work on his/her idea during an actual internship at Sunrock.
