Are you interested in renewable energy sources, like wind energy? Have you ever wondered where TU Delft gets its energy from? And do you want to see a real and working offshore wind farm from up close?

TU Delft Energy ClubDelft Sustainable Energy Association and Green Office TU Delft teamed up to organize an excursion to offshore wind farm Luchterduinen from Eneco! We will visit the wind farm with a boat, accompanied by 4 expert speakers from TU Delft and Eneco.

> Luchterduinen wind farm
The Luchterduinen wind farm is located 23 km off the coast between Noordwijk and Zandvoort. It yields 531 GWh annually, powering 150.000 households with their 43 3MW windmills. This adds up to 275 kton annual CO2 savings!
Also, did you know that TU Delft is supplied with electricity by 6 of this wind farm’s turbines?!
