As an Energy Transition Intern at Emmett Green, you will be at the heart of the energy transition. You will be involved in sustainable projects in which we help transform energy-intensive industries. Together with companies, we develop private grids, energy hubs or batteries, and work on innovative solutions for sustainable energy systems. You will be involved in advising clients and supporting our development processes by running simulations, calculating financial models and preparing the right documents.
What are your responsibilities?
· Perform simulations using our in-house developed Energy Management System.
· Working with Excel-based financial models to support the financial analysis and forecasting of projects. Use our in-house deep uncertainty analysis tool to assess the robustness of hydrogen-related business cases under various market and operational uncertainties.
· Perform feasibility studies and technical assessments for energy projects. Not only in technical and economic terms, but also paying attention to environmental factors, laws and regulations and stakeholder interests.
· Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, analysts and stakeholders.
· Preparing documents for decision-making and presentations for clients and internal teams.
Who are we looking for?
· You are interested in the energy transition
· You are currently in university (masters) with a numerical focus. Preferably a technical education.
· Your study results are above average and you have at least one extra-curricular activity
· You are energetic, proactive and very target oriented
· You are analytical, ambitious and entrepreneuring and you don’t have a 9 to 5 mentality
· Experience with earlier internships in engineering, corporate finance or strategy consulting is an advantage

To reduce CO2 emissions, we develop, engineer, operate, invest in solar, mega-batteries, electrolysers, thermal assets and more innovative assets. Next to that, Emmett Green will take care of project finance, project valuing and strategical consulting.

Your compensation of the internship will be €500,- gross per month.
