October 17, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

On 17th October DelftS.E.A,. with the collaboration of The Energy Club, will bring two very talented speakers who will talk about their experiences working on projects in developing countries.

We have Dwi Sassetyaningtyas, who is about to graduate, and who has worked on rural electricifcation of a small island in Indonensia called Sumba using PV. Also Rob de Jeu will talk about his work on integrating smart grids in villages in India, and thus helping them gain access to electricity plus an additional income.

This was just a very brief introduction to some amazing work they did in Indonesia and India. You are welcome to hear them share their insights on their experiences conducting research in developing countries and perhaps you will gain some inspiration too!!

Afterwards, there will be networking drinks in /Pub (EWI) with various organisations, professors and associations who are closely related to sustainability. This will give you a great chance to make some important connections. So do not miss it!
